Invitation to Collaborate with God in
Community
God created the heavens and the earth
In community
The Father
The Son and
The Holy Spirit
God created male and female
So we too can have
Community
Male and female He created us
After His own image
The Triune God
The Three in One
Created humankind
Two sexes
Male and female He created us
Yet one
One in reflection of Whom God is
One in flesh when He puts us together
To have dominion
To tend to
To take care of
His creation
God doesn’t just create
He also sustains
He sustains the lives He has created
He is the Author and Sustainer of
life
God gives us
His prize creation
The privilege to
Tend to His creation
In collaboration with Him
In the community He has given us
As male and female
To reflect His community of
The Father
The Son and
The Holy Spirit
Now the God Head
Who is in community as the Triune God
Invites us
Male and female
Us humans in community
To join His community
So that we might be in
One community
With God
The Triune God
With us the created beings
Community begets community
Community with community
All becoming
One community
As we tend to the work God has given
us
Caretaking of His creation
Not just on our own strengths or
abilities
As He calls us to
Join Him
In what He has done
And what He is doing
To sustain life
Life here on earth
For He is the Sustainer of all lives
We have been invited to
Enter into what He has made
What He has done
What He continues to do
To sustain all life
Let us then
In community with one another
Join God
In His community as the Triune God
In the caretaking of this earth
Community with community
Community with fellow created beings
With the Sustainer Triune God
Who sustains in community
And replicates His community
In us
With us
and through us
In tending to His creation
