God Equips Those Whom
He Has Called
God is the Author and Finisher of our
calling
and of our life
When He formed us in our mother’s
womb
He planted a unique reflection of His
own glory in us
He would shape our life’s
circumstances
In order to accomplish in us
His purpose for us
His good and perfect purpose
For us
In us
And through us
To bless those around us
Which blesses Him
As it reflects back to Him His glory
Sometimes these life circumstances
are painful
And filled with suffering
We ask God
Why
Why does He allow bad things to
happen to His own children
He replies
Hush my dear child
I am here with you
In the pain
In the suffering
Even as I suffered for all the sins
of the world
On that cruel cross
Trust in My plans
For I have plans for you
To prosper you and not to harm you
Plans to give you hope and a future
Yes, many times in the midst of
suffering
As suffering is both
My pruning process for you
As well as my refining process in you
Suffering produces perseverance
Perseverance forms character
Reflection of God’s character
Which gives hope
Hope for us
And hope for others around us
As they witness God’s presence
In the midst of our suffering
Ultimately
It is God’s presence with us
That comforts us
Equips us
And empowers us
His presence connotes
God Himself
His Love
His Power
His Will
It is His Will that we reflect Him
It is His Will that we are
His workmanship
His masterpiece
He Himself culls through our chaff
and dust and mire
And forms and molds us
Into His precious reflection
Through blessings
And
Through adversity
Equipping us
If God is for us who can be against
us
If God Himself gave His Only Son for
us
What else could He give
that He has not already given
As He calls us
He already has His plan in motion
For us to succeed
In His Plan
His Calling
For He is the Author
And the Finisher
Of our Calling
