Waiting on the Holy Spirit For Power
On our own
We have no strength
No ability
No productivity
No effectiveness
None
When it comes to the spiritual realm

Mighty eagle glides through the air
without flapping its wings
For it’s not the eagle’s wings that
has the strength
when it comes to it gliding through
the air
It is its eyes
And the ability to sense where the
wind is blowing
The current of the airflow
That the eagle jumps
Onto
The current of the wind
And glides
As it is carried by the current
of the wind
It is its attentiveness
In waiting
In watching
In sensing
The air current
The source
of the majestic eagle’s flight
through the air
Through the open sky

When it comes to the spiritual realm
We can walk
Run
Paddle
All we want
And still go no where
For in the spiritual realm
It is not
Efforts
Abilities
Strengths
We can possibly muster
That can cause any lasting effect
It is purely the Move of God
The Holy Spirit at work
That gives life
The wind
The current
That enables life
The power
The strength
To accomplish God’s will and His plan
We are totally powerless
Helpless
To accomplish God’s will
His plans
For us
In us
Through us
It is God’s power
The move of the Holy Spirit
That enables
Accomplishes
The work
He has planned
In advance
For us to do
God
Through the Holy Spirit
Moves
To accomplish
His good and perfect
Will
God’s Will
Not our will
God’s plan
Not our plan
God’s desire
Not our desire
For us to do good works
Which He has prepared in advance
To enables us
to accomplish
That we might walk in them
It is God
Only God
Who moves and enables us
To accomplish His Will
His plans
For us
In us
Through us

Let us eagerly watch and wait
On the Spirit
Just as an eagle
Watches and waits
On the wind
For the current of the wind
The movement of the Holy Spirit
Wait watchfully
That we might
Jump onto
The current of the Holy Spirit
So we might be
Carried by the current of the Holy
Spirit
Who accomplishes
God’s good and perfect Will
His plans
For us
In us
and
Through us
